Celadrin Creams Knee Pain and Inflammation
YouÌve had good results with the pills; now add the cream for even more improvement!
Celadrin, an all natural fatty acid compound, reduced joint pain and inflammation, and almost immediately improved knee range-of-motion in osteoarthritis (OA) sufferers who applied a cream preparation for 30 days. In this 2004 study published in The Journal of Rheumatology, 40 OA patients were randomly selected to apply either a Celadrin or placebo cream. To determine flexibility and strength, researchers measured knee range-of-motion, stair climbing ability and the time it took to get-up-and-go from a seated position. The doctors took these measurements several times during the study: immediately after the first application, 30 minutes later and over the next 30 days while patients applied the cream twice per day.
Knee range-of-motion increased, and the amount of time it took to clompete the stair climbing and get-up-and-go: tests decreased significantly in the Celadrin group beginning 30 minutes after the first application and continuing through the end of the study. Those in the placebo group showed no significant improvement in any of these measures.
In another study, those who applied Celadrin cream had less joint pain and improved ability to stand comfortably in one place for 20 or 40 seconds. A third study showed that patients with osteoarthritis of the knee who had taken Celadrin capsules for 68 days had significantly improved flexibility of the knee compared to those who had taken a placebo capsule.
