Cilantro-Lime Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) Muir Glen® organic fire roasted or plain diced tomatoes, well drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt (kosher or sea salt)
  • 1 to 2 fresh jalapeno or serrano chiles, seeded, finely chopped

Directions

  • In medium bowl, stir together all ingredients.
  • Serve with tortilla chips as desired.
  • Make the salsa up to 24 hours ahead of time and store tightly covered in the refrigerator.
